Second Hand in Africa

The Netherlands, Belgium, Togo. Second hand in Africa, follows a trade route of discarded stuff. Africans residing in Europe, buy all kinds of products on the internet and ship them to the African West Coast. Upon arrival they sell the goods on the market to the highest bidder. Especially cars, flat-screen TVs, laptop computers, and mobile phones are very popular. Almost every product with a defect, will be repaired on the spot. The extent of recycling is poverty-related and unknown to many people.
